Amnesty declared for illegal expatriate workers in Qatar  

The Government of Qatar has declared amnesty for illegal expatriate workers to go back to their own countries without paying any fine or facing any punitive actions within a period of three months starting from March 15, 2004.Indian Community Benevolent Fund (ICBF), a voluntary organization working under the aegis of the Indian Embassy, Doha, Qatar is offering air tickets to deserving individuals who wish to avail the scheme and return to India.

Non-Resident Keralites who are staying in Qatar without valid passport, visa etc; and wish to return to Kerala, may approach the Embassy of India, Doha, Qatar immediately, and avail the scheme.
