The National Geographical Traveler after two years of
research chose kerala as one of the 50 places of a lifetime. Kerala was listed as one of the ten destinations in the Paradise Found category. The only other Indian destination  that featured was the Taj Mahal in the World Wonders category.

The magazine celebrates Kerala’s social development indices when it states, “Statistically Kerala stands out as the Mount Everest of social development; there’s truly no place like it.
