A Brilliant
MBBS Student Seeks Financial Assistance for continuing her
studies
Her father was a former NRI, and after his death, the family got plunged into severe financial crisis. Following this, her mother found it difficult to run the family, which eventually forced the mother to put four of the girl’s siblings under the care of an orphanage. The girl on her own prepared for the medical entrance examination and obtained 268th rank. With financial assistance from various sources, she joined the Kottayam Medical College for the MBBS course. She got first class marks in the first year, and passed the second year of the course with 85 per cent marks.
Now into her third year of MBBS course, she needs timely financial assistance to continue her studies. This can be made possible only with financial help from individuals and groups, who can help her to continue and complete her studies.
Those interested to contribute for this noble cause may do so by contacting in the following address:

We
are receiving many petitions/appeals from various corners
seeking financial assistance. While the Government is trying its best to lend a helping
hand in as many deserving cases as possible, with the limited
resources at its disposal, the large volume of such cases have
shown that there is no way out except bringing them to the
notice of benevolent individuals and charity organisations.
The Government would like to act as an intermediary
between the needy and benign persons in this regard and is,
therefore, putting up such appeals in our website for wider
reach. They are
neither directions from the Government nor a means of
refraining from its responsibility but only manifestations of
its concern to see the grievance redressed.
We have received certain mails questioning the motive
and correctness of such action in response to an earlier
appeal put up by us in our website while we have received
several mails offering assistance as well.
Readers may note that these are petitions from fellow
human beings in distress and we would be thankful to those who
treat such appeals with magnanimity.
